LHPE-10/1-L Belt Misalignment Sensor

Convergence (misalignment) switches for belt conveyor serve for protecting belt against damage that is connected to belt’s deflection from its proper path.

LHPE-10/1-L type sensors are installed along conveyor belt, in pairs and on both sides of a belt. In case of belt’s relocating from its normal path, an edge of belt reposes to the switch lever and acts with force that is opposable to the inbuilt spring. With angle of depression bigger than 25°, contact’s switch is conducted.

Versions with the automatic location’s blockade (that prevents from accidental switching off in case of lowering a depression’s angle) or with an automatic switching of a contact after a belt’s returning to right path are available. The maximum angle of lever’s deflection is 75°.

The sensor has 1 to 4 snap-action NC contacts and 1 to 4 NO contacts. Both contacts’ sets are activated simultaneously. They are characterized by the immediate activation; also in case of a slow growing of lever’s deflection. Gaping extortion means contact’s opening also in case of inner spring breakdown or in case of short circuit.

The sensor’s casing is made from colored polyester reinforced with fibreglass or it is made from cast iron. Shock-resistance and vitality of polyester casing are very high and it is compared to cast iron casing. Both versions are made with the IP 67 protection level. The roller installed on the sensor’s lever is made from polyamide or from stainless steel. It is installed with two ball bearings. The guarantee of great vitality, endurance and possibility of multiple uses is increased by; invisible at first sight, details as sealant rings, all the wires and levers or screws made from stainless steel.
