Magnetic filters
GOUDSMIT magnetic filters are able to remove ferrous particles of only 30 microns from liquids and powders that are transported under pressure. The range of application covers
different sectors of industry;, still, the principle is always the same.
Strong NEOFLUX® magnets, when reaching deeply a product, retain even the smallest ferromagnetic particles. Magnetic rods could be pulled out for cleaning at any time. All you have to do is to take down a special lid. The tests have confirmed the fact that GSN 50 version of magnets is able to catch stainless steel particles too. These are so small, that even a metal detector is helpless when trying to catch them.
Magnetic rods are the basic elements of the filters.
Magnetic material: NEOFLUX®
Dimensions: ø23, fully waterproof
Casing’s material: stainless steel 316
Magnets: GSN 38; Br 12.400 Gauss or GSN 50; Br 14.000 Gauss
Temperature: max. 80°C (do 180°C with the special version)
Industrial magnetic filters
Industrial magnetic filters are available with passage widths from DN 50 to DN 400 and are cleaned manually. After opening the lid, the magnetic bars can be removed from the product flow as a single unit. You can then remove the bars from the stainless steel extractor case and let the iron fall out. The followers from passage width DN 150 and beyond are fitted with lateral guides. It results from the weight of the lid and magnets attached.
Flange: DIN 2576 PN 10
Max. pressure: 10 bars (test 15 bars)
Operation temperature: 80°C (200°C with the special version)
The above table enables to select a proper model of the filter that suits existing installation and its dimensions.
Food industry
Magnetic filters for the food industry are available with widths from DN 25 to DN 125. The lid is equipped with the special stainless steel hood. Stainless steel case is especially designed for the food industry.
