Functions

GSM Lift Watch is the new modular system for two-way emergency communication between people trapped in a lift’s cabin and the technical service. The device uses wireless GSM transmission.

GSM Lift Watch has been designed according to compuslory EN 81-28 norm’s requirements. Two-way communication with a service is arbitrarily required with every newly built lifts. Simultaneously, it is the perfect supplement for modernized lifts since it enhances building’s safety’s standard.

Apart from voice communication and SMS informing about failure, the system enables to remotely control some of a lift’s functions (e.g. control system RESET), and to send return messages to the service.

Application

GSM Lift Watch is applicable in every building where there is no person who monitors lift’s condition constantly. It is the ideal solution for companies which have greater number of lifts – all they need is one telephone number (e.g. mobile phone’s) on which messages and voice connections will be transferred.

The advantage of this system is lack of telephone line, or intercom line and the fact that it has function of an automatic reporting of a failure.

We recommend using SIM cards with monthly subscription because it assures of stable operation without necessity of top-upping. MATYKIEWICZ.COM company also offers the service of pre-paid cards’ electronic top ups that are applied in GSM Lift Watch modules. It relieves final user, as well as, lift’s supplier of the necessity of a constant card’s credit monitoring. The cost of one lift’s top up with several devices is very reasonable. We attend all the operators up to 2000 lifts simultaneously.

Description

GSM Lift Watch assures emergency communication for one lift or for two lifts that operate in group or at a close distance (up to several meters). After pressing the "ALARM" button, in one of the lift cabin, the connection with a telephone number is being established. The regulation of the button press time is possible. In case of no response or no confirmation, the next programmed number is dialed (max. 6 numbers). Connection’s establishing is signaled visually and acoustically according to EN 81-28 norm’s requirements.

The time of conversation is determined by receiver of the call; furthermore, the maximum time of conversation is limited to 4 minutes. What is essential, the blockade of connections is possible in case of lift’s proper operation (no failure). It is the protection against incompetent use and it reduces the costs of the system.

The system is equipped with 5 inputs or 2 and 3 inputs, and also with two independent relays for defining lift’s condition or for controlling some lift’s functions (e.g. control system RESET).

It can be supplied by 230V, 12V circuit or alternatively by 12V emergency power supply adaptor (we provide the client with an accumulator when needed) with a possibility to charge the built-in accumulator.

The system automatically (without person in the cabin getting involved) sends SMS that informs about lift’s condition change (e.g. failure, no power supply) to any pre-programmed number.

The configuration of every parameter (telephone numbers, system’s time, authorizations, etc.) and complete controlling of the system (e.g. remote dialing a number that is different than the one programmed) are possible through GSMLiftSet software (you can download it from our website) or via SMS (only from the authorized telephone numbers

GSM Lift Watch is regularly conducting the automatic inspection of the device’s functioning (SELF-CONTROL), through the connection with the programmed telephone number in the determined periods of time. The additional option is establishing the connection with the cabin from outside, in any time, but only using the authorized numbers.

The regulation of loudspeaker’s and microphone’s sound volume and sensitivity is made separately for every cabin.

There is a possibility of ordering the additional unit that could serve as intercom (especially for high buildings).

We are the first company in Poland that has introduced the computer monitoring system which collects information from GSM Lift Watch and New Link Lift Watch devices. It enables to identify and file emergency connections as well as to collect self-control signals from the particular modules and quick react to eventual failures according to regulations.
