Functions

Link Lift Watch is the new modular system for two-way emergency communication between people trapped in a lift’s cabin and the technical service. The device is connected to the stationary telephone line.

Link Lift has been designed according to valid EN 81-28 norm’s requirements.

Apart from voice communication, the system enables to remotely control some of lift’s functions (e.g. control system RESET), as well as, to remotely control lift’s condition.

Application

Link Lift Watch is applicable in every building where there is no person who monitors lift’s condition constantly. It is the ideal solution for companies which have greater number of lifts – all they need is one telephone number (e.g. mobile phone) on which messages and voice connections will be transferred. Making telephone line accessible to the system by a building’s administration is essential. Leading the line out from a telephone exchange (PBX) in a building is possible.

The advantage of the system is the compact solution that holds in the one, small casing a microphone, a loudspeaker and the electronic circuit. It also decreases the cost of the device.

Description

Link Lift Watch ensures emergency communication for one lift. After pressing the "ALARM" button, in a lift cabin, the connection with a programmed telephone number is being established. The regulation of the button press time is possible with the software (from 0,5 to 5 seconds). In case of no response or no confirmation, the next programmed number is dialed (max. 6 numbers). Connection’s establishing is signaled visually and acoustically according to EN 81-28 norm’s restrictions. Yellow LED signals dialing the number and the green LED signals establishing the connection.

The time of conversation is determined by receiver of the call; furthermore, the maximum time of conversation can be pre-programmed. What is essential, the blocking of connections is possible in case of lift’s proper operation (no failure). It is the protection against incompetent use and it reduces the costs of the system.

The system is equipped with the relay for controlling some lift’s functions (e.g. control RESET). Relay’s activation time is regulated from 1 to 99 seconds’ time frame.

The in-built input enables automatic informaton of lift’s condition change (e.g. no power supply, failure) to the particular telephone number. Every input and output is separated galvanically (neutral polarization of cables) with the exception of the button and the telephone line.

It is supplied directly by a telephone line; therefore, Link Lift Watch operation is independent from eventual lift’s power failures.

The configuration of every parameter (telephone numbers, system’s time, authorizations, etc.) and complete controlling of the system (e.g. remote dialing a number that is different than the one programmed) are possible through PC with LiftSet software (you can download it from our website) or it can be done remotely using the phone (tone dialing).

Link Lift Watch is regularly conducting the automatic inspection of the device’s functioning (self-control signal), through the connection with the programmed telephone number in the determined periods of time. The additional option is establishing connection with the cabin from the outside, in any time, but only using the authorized numbers.

The regulation of loud speaker’s and microphone’s sound volume and sensitivity is made independently.

Optionally, we provide our clients with the adapter that expands Link Lift Watch functions of a direct connection between a cabin and the machine-room (intercom).
