Plate Magnets

Functions

The plate magnets, which can be installed within the existing transport system, enable to remove ferrous particles from different materials (e. g. food and plastic products, chemicals, timber, stone, ceramic materials). Simultaneously, they ensure reliable and economical devices’ protection; hence, there are no unnecessary pauses in production process.

Thanks to the installation of our plate magnets, your final product will be delivered without any iron particles. What is more, our devices will prevent your production from sparks in materials, and in this way, the risk of fires and explosions will be reduced.

Application

Plate magnets are able to remove Fe particles from materials such as: cocoa grain, granulates, waste cables, crumbled tires, polyesters, dry fodder for animals, gold pigment, recycled plastic, glass, cereal petals, flour, fibers, medicines, gravel, wood chips, kaolin (porcelain clay), the grains of the coffee, sugar, and many others.

Description

The devices that we offer are produced with use of strong ceramic magnets that are constructed in a way that assures exceptionally deep magnetic field. The producer assures of lifelong warranty of the magnetism.

Thanks to the sizeable dimensions, the plate magnets of 1, 2 and 3 type could be installed in places that lack of free space. As the magnets are quickly filled with ferrous material, they are usually used as the last level of material’s control.

The plate magnets of 4 to 9 dimensions are characterized by the ideal combination of strength and magnetic field’s depth. This fact guarantees the ideal level of Fe particles’ separation from your material. Depending on material’s type and required magnetic field’s depth, the proper type of magnet can be selected (details in the table below). Taking the advantage of our long-term experience in the industry, we advise you with choosing a proper device with pleasure

The instalation of the plate magnets is very easy. VM3 and VM3 ES are equipped with the special flange in which you can drill fasten holes. The remaining types (VM1, VM2 and VM4 do VM9) have fasten holes in a lower part. Using other installation materials is possible here. Magnet must be installed crosswise (not lengthwise) above the material flow. Thank to that kind of installation, the material is being passed through two strong magnetic fields which pick up iron particles. In the area of the magnets’ operation there should be used only non-magnetic components (to prevent from formation of the contrariwise directed magnetic fields).

Met-Alert system self-cleaning:

Thanks to creating patented Met-Alert system, manual plate magnets’ cleaning is a past activity. Met-Alert system installed on the surface of the standard plate magnet signals its backfilling with ferrous particles. It could lead to a productivity’s decrease. The signal starts pneumatic cylinder that moves special stainless steel rake. Every particle is removed to the nearby container. System’s sensitivity can be regulated from the smallest iron particles to bigger screws and nuts. Continuous operation of the sensors enables to forget about time consuming controls conducted by a technical crew and it assures constant level of magnetic field’s strength.
