Functions

Signalling the presence of metal objects in non-metallic material, most often on a belt conveyor.

The device, as opposed to magnetic separator, enables to detect also those metals which do not have magnetic properities (e.g. manganese alloy used in drilling devices, aluminium and aluminum alloys, copper, brass). .

Depending on needs: visual and/or acoustic signalling, stopping of a belt conveyor, starting a pneumatic system (e.g. hatch) which removes unnecessary material, starting electromagnetic separator only in time of removing an object, controlling the device which marks a place of metal’s detection. .

Application

Devices’ protection from damage (mills, crushers), as well as, control over the metal content in raw materials and in final product.

Description

HKP 5 is one of the flag products of Zam-Servis s.r.o. company, successfully installed for several years on transport lines of the materials as: coal, aggregate, lime, cement and other. The device proves its effectiveness when simple installation and effective operation count.

HKP 5 metal detector is composed of SHKP/L5 detection unit (slanting) or SHKP/R5 detection unit (flat) and VSHKP 5.1 control unit. The dimension of aerial is adapted to belt conveyor’s width.

The control unit can be operated on site with buttons, or remotely through the control system.

If the controlled material contains trace quantity of metal elements, it could influence HKP 5 sensitivity. This effect can be neutralized with sensitivity’s reduction conducted by the manufacturer. We recommend providing us with material’s sample (1-10kg) before placing an order.
