Functions

Pull-wire switches make quick emergency stopping of conveyor belts or other sizeable devices possible from any place. Pulling a wire causes emergency device’s switching off. It assures work safety near a conveyor belt according to the harmonized EU norms:

Application

Pull-wire switches are required where people have an access to conveyor belts According to safety norms’ restrictions, the possibility of stopping belt from every place along its length must be secured. In the case of a belt more than a couple meters long, STOP switch near its drive does not fulfill these criteria.

Description

SNS1x pull-wire switches are designed for one-side assembly. Wire’s length should not exceed 25 m. According to PN-EN 60497 and PN-EN 418, the contact (stopping) takes place both in case of pulling a wire and its breaking or loosening. After the activation, the mechanical blockade of the switch takes place. The only possible is manually unblocking, directly on a switch. The switch’ condition could be monitored directly trough the window with the special indicator (normal operation/the wire has been pulled, wire is broken).

The casing is made from zinc-plated steel with the IP 66 protection.

Depending on your needs, we provide you with SNS11 version with one NO contact and one NC contact or with the SNS12 version with two NC contacts.

The casing is equipped with three PG13,5 cable outlets. Two of them are closed with plugs with the proper level of protection; one is equipped with screw closing.
